2006 and back

If anyone reads this far down the references you'll be aware that Bryce and Lisa appear to be very professional and simple to deal with. They sourced me what I believe to be a car near perfect to my requirements and were ever pleasant to deal with through the simple process. Its people like these guys that are helping to put a little bit more class onto our country's roads by making it possible for people like me (with no idea) to import our dream cars. I just wanted to thank you both and convey my appreciation, following the arrival and acceptance of my '65 Mustang Notchback. The reason I decided to put my faith into Westcoast Classic Imports was as a result of the impressive amount of seemingly happy customers you have helped over time. Through my conversations with you both, during what I thought would be a testing time, I was always so impressed with your level of communication, which is so important in these situations. I never felt anything but confident, that everything I expected would happen, with your reassurance.

I considered the chances of acquiring a straight and original '65 was a little remote. But after your personal description and subsequent clear and comprehensive photos I had little doubt my expectations would be fullfilled. The bonus for me was the sweet running 289 engine which is still purring nicely after giving it a reasonable test.  The car flew through the VIN process after replacing one front brake hose and installing the high stop brake light as suggested.  I have since replaced all the shock absorbers and now have a great handling classic.

Thank you both so much, I am so happy with the car and have had many comments from classic owners about its great condition.

YEAH!!! The wife and family said yes, we can get an American classic V8. So I got straight on the net and went surfing. I found this awesome looking 68 Mustang Fastback for sale, but felt uneasy and clueless about buying a vehicle from the other side of the world. Lucky for me I stumbled onto 'Westcoast Classics' web page.  I gave Bryce a call and discussed with him about this Fastback I had found. After some very good advice from him about what sort of vehicle I would 'really' get for our budget, made me realise how much easier it would be for somone else to take care of the whole transaction and for me to deal with just one person. Bryce and Lisa had a nice looking 68 coupe that took my fancy and was a better option for our budget. So I went "We'll have that".  With the heap of photos and constant contact from Bryce and Lisa, throough the entire proces, made the purchasing of this classic car something it should be...exciting, worry-free and uncomplicated. We will get that Fastback one day, and I wont hesitate in calling on 'Westcoast Classics' to find one. I would recommend that anyone thinking of buying a classic car to give them a call, even if it's just for advise, they are so helpful and nice to deal with.  Again thanks heaps Bryce and Lisa.

Re: Westcoast Classic Imports

At the end of 2005 I decided I was going to buy a 1966 Mustang Coupe. After searching the internet and then talking to Bryce & Lisa at Westcoast Classic Imports I paid a deposit for a '66 A Code' that was in need of a bit of restoration.  The car car arrived early in March 2006 and unfortunately was slightly damaged in the rear when it was being unloaded in the customes area. Bryce & Lisa immediately had quotes done, supplied parts and had the repairs taken care of.  Once the car was at home I tidied up a few small things ready for compliance but then noticed a collapsed shock tower on the left hand side...  "no problem" said Bryce & Lisa, and once again they paid for a good deal of the repairs (which was quite expensive exercie!). Soon after, the car breezed through compliance and was registered and on the road.  I have now completely stripped the car and sent it to the panel and paint shop.  The body is in excellent condition for a 40 year old car. It had a very small rust patch unser the rear screen rubber and in the bottom of the doors.  Really nothing to worry about. The floors are near perfect. I hope it will be one of the best around when it is restoration is complete. Bryce & Lisa are also very helpful if you require extra parts and are easy and pleasant to deal with.

As the dealer principal of a new car franchise and having been in the motor industry for 25 years plus, I would recommend them to anyone who wants a good quality American classic car.

Hey I just wanted to say I'm rapt with the 67 Mustang.  So is my family.  Yesterdaymy 16 year old daughter (who is car mad) and normally hard to get out of bed at 6.45 (impossible to imagine) and wanted me to take her for a ride in the Musy - well it was like Christmas for her - just great. My partner Robyn (who can take or leave cars) thinks the car is majic - for me I'm rapt and keep going out to the garage to see if it's real not a dream. The car runs great - sweet motor - great interior and everything I wanted - my mates are envious.

Hi Bryce & Lisa,

It has taken us a while to get this to you but we have been waiting on a full appriasal for our 66 notch by the panelbeater who will undertake the work on it.  We are thrilled that the car is straight and no rust has been found.  In fact apparantly a couple of his staff have stated they "want to do that one".  John has been driving it around and the motor runs well and seems to have plenty of grunt. It appears as though under that ugly new paint job we have a nice car waiting to emerge.

Its been a dream of mine for a long time to own a classic American car.  I was given the number of Bryce and Lisa (Westcoast Classics) top people I was told??? So I made that call and spoke to Bryce, told him what sort of $$$ I had and I was looking for a good Ford convertible.  With disappointment he told me he only had an old Chevy on the books so I hung up....  well not even 20 miunutes went by and he called me up and Bryce found me a car, a 1965 Galaxie Convertible, sent me some photos and I was in love straight up BUY BUY BUY I want it and the deal was done.  From the time the car left its home town to the time it got to me Lisa and Bryce kept me informed of everything where my new baby was. We recently purchased a '68 Camaro off Bryce and Lisa.  The car needs a bit of restoration as we were well informed from the onset. We found the pictures sent to us were very accurate as to the car when it arrived.  We were informed every step of the way from purchase, shipping, departing and arriving, customs and MAF clearance to delivery in Christchurch. If I had any questions they were answered imemediately by email or frequent phone calls. 

At the moment their after sales service is continuing with parts sourcing for our project which we are very greatful.

Overall we are very satisfied with our purchase and hopefully their help will continue as we delve into our restoration project.

I recently purchased a 1968 Pontiac Firebird from Westcoast Classics, sight unseen and on their say so that it was a top car.  I am pleaseed to say when it arrived it was all and more than what I expected and I am totally satisfied with my purchase.  The only thing I did not like about the car was the chrome wheels and apon asking Bryce, he swapped the wheel for a set of Rally 2's that he had.  This deal confirmed my faith in their honesty and intergrity.

Just a quick note for anybody who might be thinking of doing business with you and is possibly worried or having second thoughts about handing over a heap of money to a complete stranger. DO IT. I brought a '68 Firebird through Bryce and Lisa which needed some minor work.  When it got there there was nothing on the car that I hadent already seen in the photos I had been sent. The deal was simple and straight forward and I was regularly updated throughout the trip with e.mails and phone calls.  I would have no hesitation in recommending Lisa and Bryce if you are thinking of bringing in an american car.
