We recently purchased a 68 Mustang from Westcoast Classics.  Bryce and Lisa made everything so easy, with all the photos we received beforehand, to tracking on the ship.   Even though we weren't sure about handing over money to someone we hadn't even met, (not something we do), they kept in touch with us all the time.  When the mustang arrived she wouldn't keep going, when putting onto transporter.  Bryce went out of his way and held onto car to find out what the problem was and sorted it out for us.  What more could you ask for when the mustang arrived two days before Xmas.  We have no hesitation in recommending Westcoast Classics to anyone.  We would like to thank Bryce and Lisa for making things so easy.

Well, we have to say WHAT AN EXPERANCE and it all started with a simple e-mail, bord and disappointed from missing out on a trade me deal (in the end wouldn’t have been worth it anyway) we decided to send an e-mail to you guys who came highly recommended to look for our dream.

With luck on our side Bryce was in the US at this time. Amazingly we had a return e-mail within 2 hours saying you could help but outside your comfort zone being a Mopar, to cut a very short and great story even shorter within three days we were the proud owners of a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T (awesome).

This car is all you said it was and more, the whole process was simple, clear and informative with photos and even videos of it driving the roads of California.

Just letting you know that Kathryn and Ii are really happy with the new toy muzzi. We could hardly wait for it to arrive even tracking ships progress from states to good ole godzone. It was a lot scary to buy a car just from pictures and talking to a stranger over the phone (especially a car salesman) but within minutes realized BRYCE was as straight up and genuine which made the deal much more comfortable. The photos were great showing the good and the bad and the virtual tour on you tube was a great idea.....still couldn’t touch it though (pretty sure every man knows what that’s like) any way the car was exactly as described and arrived on time to my door way up in Whangarei. Reading the references on this website gave me the impetus to call Bryce to see if he could find an American pick up for me.

With some good honest feedback concerning what I was looking for with the budget I had, I left it with Bryce expecting a long process. Surprisingly I soon had several options to look at.  With the u-tube links, heaps of photos and most importantly a person looking at and driving the vehicle for you, the choice was made.

Bryce and his team had found the perfect truck, delivered to my door, no hassles and plenty of updates on the way.

I now have a sweet 55 Chevy pick up in the garage that, as delivered, is way above what I was expecting for many reasons.

First, many, many thanks!  I have been waiting for my Mustang for about 40 years now!  My sister took me to see Bullitt back in the late 60s, ever since a Mustang is all I have ever wanted!   You guys have brought that dream true for me.

Its pretty hard to know who to trust and how to go about importing a car from overseas.  The photos and the videos gave me everything I needed to know to make a decision that this was the car for me. You made the process so easy i wonder why I needed to have waited so long!   The car may have a paint job like the ugly duckling on the outside, all of which we saw on the photos, but underneath its all serious racing muscle, very serious! who would ever guess??

Its been 4 years since purchasing our Mustang thru Ebay and arranging shipping and clearances ourselves. We have heard many horror stories of cars that are not what the seem or not even existing so we decided that unless we went to America ourselves or brought an already imported car, we wouldn't be purchasing.  Looking on Trade Me and spying Westcoast Classic's advertisements soon changed our minds.  We read what others had to say and asked Bryce many questions, all of which he had no problem in responding to, as well as sending us many more photos.  The deal was done and Bryce kept us fully informed of progress.  The car arrived and we got it back to Hamilton with no problems.  Bryce had fully informed us about the boot floor so off the car went to the panel beater for replacing.  We then did the normal - headlights, seat belts, high stop light etc.   Into compliance it went and the next day we registered it and are now cruising in our new Firebird.  Thanks Bryce, you made it much easier and stress free.  Would certainly call on you again if we decide to purchase another car.

I recently (2009) imported a 1968 Pontiac Firebird through West Coast Classics. Bryce and Lisa Williams are the operators for the company and were my contacts throughout the process which took approximately 8 weeks from the time I agreed to make the purchase to receiving the car in Wellington.

Once I had advised Bryce what I wanted it only took a few days for him to supply me with some worthwhile choices to assess. The decision was obvious to me and also to Bryce who gave me the benefit of his many years of experience. Bryce’s partner in the States appears to also be very experienced in the field and his selection of cars to choose from was excellent. He obviously keeps a close watch of the market over there and is able to give the client a number of cars to view in only a few days. Once the choice was made I received dozens of photos covering every inch of the car prior to making the final commitment to purchase. I even got a video of the car running.

Once the deposit was paid the process of purchase began. From then on I had nothing to do but sit back and relax while Bryce Lisa and their partner attended to all the details. Although I am not the most trusting of people I was in no doubt that they would look after my interests. From the start of the relationship I was confident that these people were thoroughly professional and trustworthy.

Bryce and Lisa continually kept me up-to-date advising when the car arrived at their warehouse in California, was put in the container (again more photos to show how it was packed) and when the ship was due to dock in Tauranga. The shipping company let us down somewhat and Bryce was quick to let me know of any potential delays and apologized for any inconvenience even though it was beyond his control.

When the car arrived in Tauranga Bryce took care of the paperwork and even gave the car a clean (more photos) before arranging transport to Wellington (more photos of car on transporter).

When Bryce bought the car he was promised that the original seats would come with it. They didn’t and Bryce had to send many Emails and phone the States several times to ensure that I would get them. He even sent his partner on a three hour drive to collect them. This shows to me that he cares passionately about his reputation and will do the right thing in order to protect it.

I wish all my dealings were as easy and hassle free as this purchase. Bryce’s personal attention throughout the purchase was fantastic making every step including documentation as carefree as possible. He has continued to provide valuable information and insights to me even though the deal is complete and that is very much appreciated.

I therefore have no hesitation in recommending West Coast Classics, while being operated by Bryce and Lisa Williams, to others wishing to venture into the unknown and import a car from the US.
