I am now the proud owner of a 2008 Mustang Bullitt. After a couple of false starts (on my part) I decided what kind of Mustang I wanted - a coupe and not dressed up like a Christmas tree. The Bullitt fits this beautifully as it is pure stealth and relatively unobstrusive but immediately recognisable for what it is. Initially deciding on a black Bullitt I changed my mind and purchased a highland green version. This presented no problems to Bryce and the process was under way. From the initial agreement to purchase in mid October and delivery of the car in mid December (fully complied and registered) the process was seamless and painless - apart from me having the odd 3.00 am thought of what the hell am I doing buying a car unseen from a man I have only spoken to on the phone. I say unseen but I recieved 100 photos of the car from every angle, talked with Bryce numerous times and on reciept of the car it was exactly as described. I am the envy of friends one of whom will now be actively keeping an eye on www.westcoastclassics.co.nz. Bryce answered every phone call, kept us in the loop with emails and sent text messages to update on any happening or requirement. I would certainly look at buying another car from Bryce (maybe in 4/5 years time) and would have no hesitation in recommending his services. If anyone wishes to phone me I am happy to talk and my number could be obtained from Bryce. Keith, Mid Canterbury, December 2010
I met Bryce about 3 years ago, when he called me looking for parts and advise to get his hobie 16 catameran together and going. I know plenty about hobie cats but next to nothing about cars.
A year or so later I was in my neighbours garage looking a 66GT Mustang he was restoring and this got me interested. So I called Bryce. However my wife promptly told me I was having a mid life crisis, what did I know about cars? Stick to boats! So that was that and I moved on..
Earlier this year my wife went for a ride in the neighbours, now complete mint 66 GT, my wife’s closet, petrol head side was reborn! So I called Bryce and started looking for an early Gt Mustang. We quickly had an option on a GT and now the tough bit.
Now we all know where car dealers rank on the public opinion poles! But this guy is different; he is passionate about the cool American cars he imports. He has a guy on the ground in California and makes every effort to ensure the car is as good or better than the clients’ expectations and his description and presentation of it. Now handing over a large sum of money to a guy you don’t really know for something you have not seen is always going to worry most people and we were no different. So I read every testimonial on his web site, then called and asked Bryce and asked “so where are the horror stories”? His reply “we don’t buy rubbish, we accurately describe the vehicles, so we don’t have horror stories and if we did we would fix them” I then spoke to a few friends, one of whom knew Bryce through the industry, more good stories. So that was it deal done, we paid the money.
The car arrived on time and was cleared without any hassle. The car is in amazing original condition for a 40+ yr old vehicle and certainly exceeded our expectations, I think even Bryce was surprised.
I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Bryce and Lisa of Westcoast classics if you are considering a vehicle from the USA.

I recently purchased a 1968 Camaro from West Coast Classics which is a good project car for me.
I found Bryce very obliging and easy to deal with, very prompt and he was quick to offer help and a back up service as I proceed with this project.
I am looking forward to a continued association with this company.

Hi Bryce
Thank you very much for the great service you provided when I purchased my 2001 Mustang Bullitt. The car is awesome, I love it. You made it so easy and I was impressed with the way you keep me up to date with each step in the process of importing and licencing the car. You gave accurate and honest details of the car and went above and beyond the call of duty to get the car ready for me to pick up when I had planned to. I would not hesitate to recommend you to future potential car buyers and hope to be a return customer myself one day.
Cheers

Hi Bryce and Lisa
We would like to say a big thank you to you both for an awesome deal and fantastic service when we purchased our Corvette from Westcoast Classic Imports.
It was very difficult to part with a large sum of money to a complete stranger without seeing the vehicle but after reading a number of testimonials and speaking to a previous customer who spoke highly of Bryce for his honesty and upfront manner, we were more ease to deal with him. Bryce kept us informed with every step in progress, from loading the car into the container (with photos) to its arrival in NZ.and took care of all the paper work, including compliance and registration etc. ready for us to pick up.
I highly recommend and would not hesitate to deal with Bryce and Lisa with our next purchase.

After buying off the internet without viewing the car we couldn't be more pleased with what was delivered. The information we recieved, all the photos and emails of it before we purchased, before the car left America, in the container and then when it arrived were awesome.
We found West Coast Classics professional and customer focused and will be dealing through them again. Thanks Bryce and Lisa for the awesome car. We will get to meet you some day when the car is ready to drive. Cheers Sandra and Ron, Auckland, November 2010
I just want to express my thanks to Westcoast Classic Imports Ltd for the safe arrival of my 1966 Mustang coupe.
Right from the first phone call through to the delivery of the car to my home address, Bryce has kept me informed of progress via email and phone calls.
The amount of information provided by way of photos prior to purchase meant the risk of buying the vehicle sight unseen was very minimal. I thought I knew everything about the car before its arrival and there certainly have been no real surprises now that it is sitting in my garage.
Thanks Bryce & Lisa for a job well done.

I have purchased a 1970 Ford Torino from Westcoast classic imports after spotting it on trademe, my first impressions of the car were that it was a tired old piece of junk - but I saved it to my watch list as curiosity. It rolled over on its listing a couple of times, and then I thought this would be an awesome project car because it had a very cool body shape. So I rang Bryce up and asked for a couple more photos – he sent me about 70 photos. The photos were a very accurate description of the car – no air brushing here. Bryce’s description of the car was very accurate too – Body sound with minimal rust, interior toast (needs replacing), gearbox needs a recon. I thought about it for another couple of weeks, my main concerns were, 1. As it was advertised as an unregistered vehicle – how much is it going to cost me to get it to comply for N.Z roads? 2. Can I trust this bloke who I have never met? – let alone a car salesman!!! 3. Can I convince the wife – this is for me!!?
Without dribbling on too much, Bryce is awesome to do business with, very good at communication, sorted out all the paper work, customs clearance, and organised delivery to my door!!
Thanks again Bryce

After buying a restoration project earlier in the year from Bryce and Lisa I had no hesitation in dealing with them again. Although I didn't think it would be so soon. When an opportunity arose to replace my work vehicle I had my eye on the Chevy pick up on the website. I always like to be different when it comes to cars. The pick up was perfect, everything I was looking for. Bryce was honest and kept in contact with me throughout the whole process. He put the pick up through compliance in Tauranga and it was delivered to me once it had its new WOF. I was over the moon and couldn’t believe how good the thing looked. We took it to Taupo and back that weekend and it never missed a beat. Awesome. I would totally recommend buying your dream American classic car through Bryce and Lisa. They make the process so easy. Their reliability and honesty is second to none. Thanks for all your help and advice again. I will be talking to you again once the Mustang is sold. Looking forward to the next project already. We bought our first Mustang from West Coast Classics in June 2007. This 66 model was our dream car and we thought it was going to be with us forever! However we (or maybe I) had a passion for the 69/70 Sportsroof model and Westcoast Classic Imports Ltd secured one that looked O.K. I viewed this vehicle (bad move) and was hooked. The advertising photos did not do this car justice. Bryce & Lisa had a great deal of patience as we went through the sale process of our beloved “66”, and even allowed us to use their site to advertise it for us. We purchased our “new “ 70 model on September 30th and are thrilled to bits with this one as well. Anyone who wishes to purchase a classic car should have no hesitation in contacting Bryce and Lisa, we have…TWICE

I was looking for a 2005 Dodge Viper to import and came across west coast classics over the net and on contacting Bryce we organized a few viewings, for a small fee, through his contact in the states. Like others I was a bit hesitant in handing over a large sum of cash to a stranger. However after a few random phone calls, through the testimonials, I was given very impressive feedback, I then decided to go ahead with the deal. Within about 5-6 weeks from the time of deposit the car was landed and cleared in NZ and at the compliance place. Bryce even organized the permit papers for a small fee and I was told by the compliance guys that it wasn’t a simple few page deal but a complete and organized folder of info. This in itself sped the process up greatly without any hassles… I’m now enjoying the vehicle immensely and to this date have only had phone and email contact with Bryce, which shows just how honest and trustworthy a character this man is, especially in today’s dodgy market. Ill probably be back in 4-5 years for another deal.
Many Thanks

Hi Bryce & Lisa
I am very pleased with the two vehicles we have purchased from westcoast classics imports ltd. The dedicacation Bryce and Lisa show towards their clients is outstanding. The honesty shown towards us is a very rear to find these days and is very much appreciated. Their commitment in giving me photos, you tube videos, emails and personal phone calls to keep me up to date was great. Bryce even helped with getting the paperwork done for the lefthand drive permits on both vehilces. This has made it a pleasure to buy the vehicles from him and we will be back to purchase more from him in the future.

When NZ Musclecars Ltd was looking for its next project we had to look no further than Westcoast Classics. We where looking for a good solid 1969 Mustang Convertible for a complete restoration and it just so happened that Bryce and Lisa had one available. Bryce and Lisa lived up to their reputation for honesty and accurate descriptions of their vehicles and stock. We were provided with various detailed photographs and video footage of the vehicle that made the decision to purchase our 69 Mustang from them so easy. Bryce handled all the necessary paperwork required for the Mustang and was very helpful in supplying some of the parts required for its restoration. The Vehicle is everything it was supposed to be and more. It even ran and drove which was far more than expected after being parked up for years. We now have the vehicle stripped and media Blasted and there where none of the hidden surprises you so often here about. NZMusclecars Ltd would not hesitate to recommend Westcoast Classics to anyone looking to purchase muscle cars or classic cars in the future and we look forward to dealing with them again soon. Thanks again guys! Kind regards Andrew (Spider) Buchanan & Koren Sutherland NZ Muscle Cars Ltd, September 2010
We bought a car through WEST COAST CLASSIC IMPORTS in August 2010.
Our first reaction, upon seeing our vehicle on the website, was how can we give a total stranger at the other end of New Zealand, a substantial sum of money for a car that is not even in the country…and still sleep at night! For all we knew we could have been importing a stock car after only seeing photos of an immaculate vehicle on the computer. We now have our pristine rocket ship and Bryce and Lisa are no longer strangers!! Bryce proved unequivocally, his credibility and true professionalism in every aspect of our dealings. Not only did he deliver everything he promised, he kept us regularly updated with Emails, phone calls and faxes, so that we were kept up with progress every step of the way. We flew to Tauranga to drive our car home and were met by Bryce at the airport and then to meet his delightful family. This gentleman is a true professional with perfect work ethics and he absolutely has his act together. I was originally from the motor trade and was contemplating importing a car myself with my many contacts within the trade. It is, without doubt, that Bryce not only saved us a lot of money and the uncertainty of what we were buying, but also a whole lot of potential heartache.
Thanks for everything Bryce, we will do business again. If anyone wishes to contact us for any reassurance in dealing with WESTCOAST CLASSIC IMPORTS , we would welcome your call.
Kindest regards, Bob and Shirley, Dunedin, 0274 350 - 394, August 2010
Testimonial for Bryce & Lisa Williams from Westcoast Classic Imports Limited.
I have just taken possession of my 1967 Ford Mustang and this car is everything I could have dreamed of and more! I purchased my car from the States through Bryce & Lisa Williams, Westcoast Classic Imports and it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with them throughout the entire process. I must admit the thought of buying a car (without seeing it first) and from people I had never met before was quite daunting and a huge risk for me to take, especially being a female and one who is not terribly mechanically minded!! However, Bryce and Lisa made it all so easy, nothing was a problem and they always went the extra mile. From day one after speaking with Bryce on the phone, I had a feeling that this person/company was genuine. Bryce suggested I read the testimonials on their website, which I did and I phoned one of the referees, who spoke very highly of Bryce and Lisa. This conversation confirmed my ‘gut feeling’ was correct and I made the decision to just ‘do it’! No matter how many questions (and there were lots) I would ask of Bryce, he always answered me promptly and explained everything very clearly to me. The numerous photos (even a photo of my Mustang loaded into the container ready to be shipped out to NZ) and continual updates were excellent. I especially liked the complimentary Mustang handbook and key ring. That was a nice personal touch. I wanted a lot of ‘extras’ done to my car and Bryce arranged for all of these things to be carried out. He provided me with a detailed breakdown of the anticipated costs, which were all very competitive. Bryce even diplomatically ‘reined me in’ with some of the ‘nice to haves’ and he suggested I wait until I have driven the car for a while and then see if I still required some of these items! How good is that, talking himself out of some potential business! The workmanship from all of the service providers that Bryce had arranged was superb. Bryce once again kept me informed at every stage of the process and he would ‘check in’ first, if any problems were encountered. He would give me options to choose from as well as recommendations, which I really appreciated. I trusted his judgement and had every confidence he was guiding me in the right direction.
Proof of this testimonial is the fabulous Mustang (which incidentally came in on budget) that now takes centre stage in my garage. If anyone is considering importing a classic car, I would have no hesitation in recommending Bryce and Lisa, Westcoast Classic Imports Ltd and I am more than happy for people to phone me. Just ask Bryce & Lisa for my number and I look forward to your call. Thanks Bryce and Lisa for making my dream come true. Your integrity and customer service is outstanding and I can’t thank you enough for what you have done. Awesome! All the very best for the future

I had been nagging my wife that I “Needed” a mustang for years! I would always make the “corrrr!” sound when one would pass us, so much so that my kids also started doing it. My fortieth birthday was fast approaching and I was dropping hints as big as boulders all over the show, I thought they were falling on deaf ears. Anyway Two months before my birthday, a good friend and I watched “Wild Hogs” , and as you may have already guessed, within a week we both had Motorbikes, bad move!
Two weeks later when my wife started talking to me again, she explained that she had cancelled the ’67 convertible Mustang that she had arranged for my birthday, and increased my life insurance to help her and the kids when I killed myself on my “stupid” motorbike. That was 3 years ago, the motorbike is well gone, and a Mint 1967 Convertible Mustang in now parked in the Garage. My wife does still bring up the whole birthday saga every now and again, but it’s a small price to pay, how’s the saying go, “you couldn’t get the smile off my face with a crowbar!” Bryce and Lisa from West coast classics found my car for me, my brief was “loose” for want of a better term, either a “mint” ’67 convertible or reliable runner that I could restore. I think that by the end of our first conversation Bryce and I both realised that I would struggle to find the time to restore a car and my best option was to purchase a mint classic within my budget. Bryce was very patient with me, and when we did find the perfect car, there was only one small problem, …. No contact number on the window card!! Now I’m a small town country boy and I think I failed to fully comprehend just what sort of a hiccup this was, surly there must be someone in the states that you could call that would know who owns a bronze ’67 convertible” lives in California and was at a car fair last week, parked under a tree, Should be simple. “Yeah right!” Bryce tried to interest me with other cars but I nagged him, (just like I nagged my wife), about “the Bronze ’67 with the parchment interior,” I’m not sure how he did it, but Bryce found it, he later called me and said, “If I was serious, then his business partner would drive the 2 hours or so to visit the car, take it for a drive, and send some photos and videos. Later that afternoon, I had over a hundred photos, 3 you-tube videos, and a car that ticked all of the boxes. Within a few days, my car was on a ship making it’s way to New Zealand, Bryce was able to help with the vinning process and in only 6 weeks since I first spoke to him, my “Mint” 67 convertible is parked in my garage. I’m a very happy camper.
There are many importers of American cars in New Zealand, I am sure most of them are very good, West Coast Importers are simply great!, at no time through out the whole process did I feel pressured, Bryce was able to answer all of my silly questions and to top it off the Car was in better condition than how it was described to me. The main reason I chose WCI was the long list of personal recommendations from totally satisfied customers, when I first spoke to Bryce about this, I told him they were “priceless” and his words were “We try hard”. Well Bryce I think you and Lisa do much more than that. Thank you and I look forward to dealing with you in the future.

Bryce Williams of WestcoastClassics.co.nz sold me a 67 Mustang conv project car.
Contact – returned all phone calls & answered every email promptly Updates - these were provided on a weekly basis, more so when the vehicle arrived here, or when he thought it was required. Extra requests – parts required for the purchased vehicle, was not a problem Paperwork – all relevant documents have been provided Payments – flexible, was understanding when a payment was delayed Trust – trusted me 100%, gave me credit on extra parts Collection – assisted with loading, ensuring I was comfortable Description of vehicle – exactly described how it was in the USA & how I see the item here in NZ – no hidden surprises Service – 1st class, deal with a kiwi guy who understands what we want – excellent value for ones hard earned $. Bryce and Lisa focus on Californian 1 or 2 owner vehicles. Conclusion – No one ever regrets buying quality. Highly recommended.

I had been interested in importing an American vehicle for a number of years. The only thing holding me back were those horror stories you hear of people buying a car online- waiting patiently for it to turn up in the country - only to receive a car filled with bog, or incomplete, or full of rust or worse– that’s if it turned up at all!
That was until Westcoast Classic Imports was recommended to me.
I completed my own research trawling through the Westcoast Classics website and was amazed with the sheer volume of vehicles that they have imported. More importantly, I was very impressed with the number of testimonials written by many more-than-satisfied customers.
And here I am writing one of my own to pass on my fantastic experience.
From the onset, Bryce was fantastic to deal with. I provided him with a very broad brief of what I was considering from a selection of makes/models, and an indication of my budget.
Ironically, Bryce recommended a completely different option I had not even considered, which is what I ended up with!
It only took Bryce a month to find the perfect car – a 1964 Buick Electra 225 in excellent condition and within our budget. Leading up to this point, Bryce kept me regularly informed and sent through a handful of options for my consideration. Through this process, it was always about waiting until the right car came along, and Westcoast Classics definitely did their homework.
When I expressed interest in the Buick that Westcoast Classics had located, Bryce had his ‘man-on-the-ground’ in the US check the car out carefully. I received an immediate report and download of images – with the intention of showing me every flaw possible to ensure I knew what I was getting.
It was very exciting and due to the thorough run-down, I felt no apprehension at all when agreeing to the purchase, even though I had not physically laid eyes on the car.
Bryce was able to get the car on a ship the next week bound for Tauranga. Even once the car had been purchased, I continued to receive photos and updates so I always knew where the car was in transit.
On the safe arrival into Tauranga, Bryce personally saw to the cleaning car of the car before arranging delivery to me in Auckland – an unexpected, but nice touch. Plus, he fixed a couple of minor things that he noticed which was greatly appreciated.
So for me, the process was about taking away the surprise factor – so when I first laid eyes on the car last week, I knew exactly what to expect - warts and all. Although, it is fair to say that the ‘warts’ were practically non-existent – and you could not get a better 46 year old ‘boat’ for the money – it is just stunning.
My husband and I are now the owners of the biggest car I have ever seen and I could not be happier with our US experience – thanks to Westcoast Classics.
If anyone would like to talk direct to me about my experience, please obtain my details from Bryce and Lisa and I will be only too happy to relay my experience.
Thanks again to Bryce, Lisa and the Westcoast Classics team. I wonder what I will get you to bring in for me next....
Tara, Auckland , August 2010

Hi there,
Just a quick note to let people know about my dealings with Westcoast Classics.
Right from the first phone call I could tell that Bryce ran a professional outfit .When I first contacted Bryce he was straight up about the car sent thru about 40 photos and 3 u tube sites, after we had done the deal all went well and car turned up 5 weeks later. Car is in better condition that Bryce described so am very impressed with it.
If you are thinking about getting a classic car from the states I suggest you talk to Bryce he is very straight up and honest.
Thank you.

Went for a drive in the Ranchero yesterday. It sure is a nice truck.
I would like to thank you for the great service you provided. The Ranchero was exactly as described and arrived when you said it would.
I will certainly recommend you to anyone I know that wants a car imported and will call again if I want another car at some stage.

I've just received my 1968 Ford Mustang from West Coast Classics and am over the moon with the car. Not only does it run great but is in an amazing condition for a 42 year old car. Bryce had told me on the phone that it was a daily driver and had no major issues. He was bang on.
As I work in the automotive industry I see a lot of nightmare cars coming in from overseas. Dealing with Bryce takes all the nerves out of this process. You know you are dealing with an honest and trustworthy guy that delivers on everything discussed.
I would highly recommend Bryce and West Coast Classics to anyone.
Cheers, Matt, Lower Hutt , July 2010
Recently in June 2010, I had the opportunity to negotiate the purchase of a 2007Shlby GT500 from Westcoast Classic Imports Ltd. I rang Bryce Williams only knowing him by reputation.
The 2007 Shelby qualifies under the new L/H drive rule to be left L/H drive and permitted in my name.
Bryce formulated a business like portfolio with all the required paperwork, and presented this to the powers to be. This process to our surprise was completed within 3 working days. I informed Bryce that the permit had been issued in my name and on my behalf, Bryce got the ball rolling to get the said car complied, registered and warranted.
I had said to Bryce that it would be good to have the car by 20-06-10 for our local Mustang Club AGM. We both agreed this may not happen.
With permit being issued faster than we thought and Bryce into compliance etc. things looked good.
We agreed to transport the Shelby to Levin, if all went well at compliance etc.
Long story short, car arrived in Levin 3 pm 18-06-10 and was everything that I expected.
Through out this journey I had been waiting to hit a big speed bump somewhere. It never happened.
Thank you Bryce and Lisa, it has been a big pleasure dealing with you and I would not hesitate to recommend you to any other clients.
Yours sincerely,
D.R. Bensemann, Foxton, June 2010
Bryce,
I’d like to pass on my sincerest thanks for your recent assistance with the purchase and importation of a vehicle from the USA for me. I understand my brief of some eight MoPar makes/models aged from 37 to 42 years old was far from definitive and you could have been excused for thinking I was trying to waste your time. Your patience through more than 70 emails and numerous phone calls was invaluable; and allowed me to progressively narrow the focus of our search.
Through that process you proposed 11 cars – 10 of which I declined for one reason or another. On the 11th car, after three weeks of searching, you had found the right car for me. I recall that day well, and was particularly impressed that within 90 minutes, I had received more than 100 photos and a number of videos from you, to help me decide. Within 24 hours the purchase was done, and a place on a ship to NZ had been secured. Your communication throughout the whole process was very reassuring; and for me to finally see, and sit in, a vehicle that matched the photographs just six weeks after the purchase was fantastic – even a dream come true at last.
So again, thanks. Your knowledge, processes, professionalism and enthusiasm are to be commended. I certainly look forward to the opportunity to work with you again in the future, and would recommend anyone else looking for a good Californian car to consider your services, and I’d be happy to be a reference if any future customer would like to give me a call.
Regards

Hi Bryce and Lisa,
Just wanted to let you know how thrilled we are with the Camaro! Importing a classic car from the States through Westcoast Classics was a simple and painless experience. All the photos you sent gave us an excellent idea of the condition of the car and it was exactly what we were expecting when it arrived. The phone calls and emails throughout the process kept us up to date with all the progress of the journey, we couldn't have asked for more.
Thank you for all your assistance and for making it a straightforward and enjoyable experience. We wouldn't hesitate to import another vehicle through Westcoast Classics or to recommend you to everyone.
Cheers,

I would like to thank Bryce for his excellent service in importing my 62 Cadillac. I thought it would be scary importing a car from the U.S.A sight unseen but the excellent communication and tons of photos I received made it easy...Even a photo of it in the container waiting to be shipped!
Westcoast Classics is a very professional company and I would not hesitate in recommending them to everybody. The Caddy was exactly as described; in fact for a 48 year old car it is excellent.
I am now getting it ready for the VIN process and loving every minute of it! Thanks again. Steve, Auckland , June 2010
Hi Bryce and Lisa
I would like to thank you both personally for the outstanding service you provided to me, making the process of importing of a classic American car easy and transparent.
Your professionalism and trustworthiness were evident from the outset. Bryce always described accurately what you were getting and he was happy to answer any questions and offer his specialist knowledge without hesitation. This was supported by a catalogue of photos and videos and also included many follow-up phone calls and emails.
I was kept fully informed at all times regarding each stage of the process, including compliance requirements in New Zealand .
I will certainly be purchasing more cars through Westcoast Classic Imports in the future and highly recommend Bryce and Lisa Williams to any other perspective buyers.
Please feel free to ask Bryce for my number as I am more than happy to chat about my great experience with Westcoast Classic Imports.
Bryce – the Mustang is just fantastic!
Thanks again,

Hi Bryce,
Thank you for all your help in complying the El Camino I recently purchased from you and Lisa.
I would to take this opportunity to congratulate you both for making buying of a classis import car so easy. It is always a bit worrying buying a car you have never seen and giving money to people you’ve never met but, I have to say no body need worry when buying a vehicle through Westcoast Classic Imports. Bryce sent many photos of the car and let me decide for myself if it was a good one. (The photos said it all, very professional). Bryce kept me up to date at all times with ship arrival time etc and kept me informed with compliance. He was very honest telling me what was good and what was not so good in his opinion with the vehicle.
I met Bryce and Lisa when I picked up the car and found them both to be honest friendly people. I drove the car 1000 kms home with no issues at all. I am very pleased with my 1968 El Camino.
Once again thank you Bryce and Lisa. If you’re thinking of importing an American car talk to Bryce and Lisa first, you won’t be disappointed.
If you wish to phone me ask Bryce for my number.

When you are buying an as-is non runner that has been parked away for nine years from a complete stranger over the internet, all kind’s of horror stories spring to mind. Luckily for me I was dealing with some really honest people who never promised anything they couldn’t deliver, the whole process has been extremely pleasant and stress free. Bryce was always up front and honest in his descriptions of my pre-loved beast, then he topped it all off by sourcing a new windscreen plus organizing its transportation to our premises, all at very sharp rates.
On top of the fantastic service from Westcoast Classics I have to say Bryce was the master of under promising and over delivering regarding the condition of my El Camino. Especially considering that after only 5 minutes of tinkering my non runner was running like it had only been parked up for a week.
My only real concern is that my better half now seems to think it would be real easy for her to get a 65 Mustang fastback sourced and delivered.
Apart from that I have nothing but good things to say regarding my purchase from Bryce and Lisa of Westcoast Classics, it has been great dealing with you guys and I hope to do so again.
Thanks again,
Bruce, Auckland , May 2010
For years I had considered owning a mustang. I got serious around a year ago and spent many an hour surfing internet sites but was put off by horror stories and overpriced vehicles. I was always under the impression that in order to buy a classic you had to look overseas. To add to this I was almost caught out by a fraudster until I saw some obvious alarm bells and backed out saving myself both embarrassment and a huge hole in my wallet.
Then I came across West Coast Classics and was immediately impressed. Not only were there great vehicles for sale that were regularly being added to, but what caught my eye was the testimonials from previous satisfied buyers that spoke highly of the owners Bryce and Lisa.
A 68 Mustang Coupe caught my eye and I phoned Bryce. He agreed to send pics, explained the car to me, explained a little of the process......and then left it there - no pushy sales pitch, no telling me to hurry as 5 others are lining up to buy it. Just a friendly informative phone call.
The mustang turned out to be a winner and so the process began. I was kept up to date by way of phone call and email throughout. I had decided to have the mustang certified, registered and warranted upon arrival into Tauranga as I had decided to drive it home to Queenstown. My knowledge of certification and the process was nil. Bryce was prepared to sit and listen to all my questions and believe me there were many. It mattered not how often I phoned or how silly my question, I was always met with a friendly informative answer.
I arrived on a Sunday morning into Tauranga to pick the car up. Bryce drove the car to me in town and the hairs on my neck stood up when that Coupe roared down the road and believe me she looked great!!!. We sat and had a coffee, talked cars and everything else, and an hour later I was off, cruising down the highway with a grin ear to ear.
My Mustang never missed a beat on the way home. She sounded sweet and turned heads all along the way. I never honestly knew that buying a classic car could have been so easy. It’s almost as easy as tell Bryce you want it, and he does all the work. I would so easily recommend that if you are thinking of buying an American Classic you make your first call to Bryce. West Coast Classics is just a smooth professional outfit. I have spoken to people both on the way home and since arriving at home and it’s amazing to hear others who have already heard of West Coast Classics - and they too only had praise for them.
I would welcome any phone call from any potential customer – (021) 588 -186
Bryce and Lisa - I know I have said my thanks after we met in Tauranga but again I want to say I appreciate all you have done. You went beyond what is expected of you as an Importer and I am over the moon with my 68 Coupe. Thank you.

I recently bought a mustang from Bryce and Lisa. Right from the start I was treated good with heaps of photos emailed to me, then once I asked a couple of mates, they put me at ease saying they have never heard of anyone not being thoroughly satisfied with their purchase through Westcoast Classics. Car arrived and its great and they’ve stayed in contact throughout the whole process, thanks Bryce and Lisa, and good luck for the future

From the very beginning Bryce was really helpful. He supplied us with a huge array of photos of the car from every angle which gave you a very accurate picture of the car. Bryce kept us well informed and was easily contacted at any time or stage of the process, this was much appreciated. We are very pleased with our 65 Mustang and the job that Bryce did for us. We would and have highly recommended Westcoast Classics to anyone thinking of importing a car.
Thanks again Bryce!

I recently purchased a Mustang from the U.S. through Bryce Williams. We have all heard the horror stories about purchasing over the internet from people you have never met. Bryce gave us a very fair description of the car along with many photo`s before purchasing. He kept us fully informed during the loading, shipping and unloading stages together with photographic evidence. When the car arrived at our place, we were more than happy with it. Total compliance costs were about half what he indicated they could be which reinforces the quality of vehicles he deals with.
From my experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone wishing to buy an American vehicle.

Bryce was great to deal with, he managed the entire process with ease to ensure it was stress free experience. 'Baby Blue' is better than described and we really appreciated the updates on our car's journey to NZ.
Thanks again Bryce.

Thanx Bryce and Lisa, for the smooth process when buying our first Classic Car, a Chev Impala. We were always kept well informed, with numerous photos and videos, making our decision to purchase the car stress free.
Your professional approach throughout the purchase made for an enjoyable experience, enhanced even more now that the "ole Sheila" is ready to take us to our first Beach Hop!
We are very happy.

Dear Bryce and Lisa,
Thank-you for the trouble-free dealings in purchasing my classic car. Most people would think it's a gamble to purchase a car from photos and from strangers, however, reading the feedback from previous customers gave me some piece of mind. Now too, after receiving my vehicle in a short amount of time, with regular updates and photos constantly emailed to me during the process, I am another very happy customer. Everything explained to me, as well as the photos, were true to the vehicle I received. The car is more than I expected and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a classic car to deal with this company.

Dear Bryce and Lisa,
It was great catching up with you yesterday and picking up the Cougar.
From the start of our negotiations I have been very comfortable with dealing with West Coast Classic Imports and all way along the wait for the Cougar to arrive in New Zealand your communication to Robyn and I has been amazing. We knew where the car was every step of the way and the photos just kept coming. I was nervous buying a car from a photo but never at any point did you over state the vehicle and we are very pleasantly surprised at the standard the car is in for its year.
The drive back from Tauranga to Taupo was the awesome.
I believe you went that extra mile to make things right with the radiator and starter motor and windscreen issues and I thank you for this.
I would not hesitate in purchasing another vehicle through West Coast Classics and also would recommend you to anybody that is thinking of living the American dream regardless of budget.
Thanks again we will keep you posted on the progress with the car which we have nicked named ‘BINY’
Kindest Regards
Robyn and Gavin, Taupo, March 2010
Hi Bryce and Lisa
It was a pleasure meeting you the other day. I felt like I was with old friends!! Thank you so much for letting me buy your "girl". I do know how special she was to you, and to you especially Lisa! She will be well cared for, and no she won’t go out on rainy days.... I have never had so much fun driving a "new” car home. It drove and ran beautifully. I had to keep kicking myself to actually believe its 45 years old. This was a pleasurable experience all around and I know I’ve got many happy years ahead. Thank you again for your help in putting me behind the wheel of a truly classic car. I promise ill keep you updated with baby photos!!
Regards and all the best for the future

Any doubts ring me on (0274) 443-023

Got the car home safely and just wanted to let you know it’s been a pleasure dealing with you guys. I was kept informed throughout the whole process and the car was just as you described (exceeded expectations).
Many Thanks,

I recently purchased a vehicle through Bryce at West Coast Classics. My car was a bit of the 'ordinary' (1989 Camaro) however I found Bryce's service to be excellent and his constant updates and communications reassuring when buying a vehicle on the other side of the world. When the car arrived I found it to be exactly as Bryce described. A great service and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending West Coast Classics to anyone thinking of importing a vehicle - give them a call.

We have just purchased our second Mustang from Bryce and Lisa and once again are thoroughly pleased with it. We have complete faith in buying a vehicle from Bryce. He provides honest and accurate descriptions and photos and is very professional to deal with. Bryce is always happy to answer any questions and has kept us informed every step of the way, even sending photos of the car packed in the container - they really do go the "extra mile".
We would definitely recommend purchasing a car from West Coast Classic Imports - it’s an easy and safe way to buy the car you've always wanted. (I’m sure we'll be back to buy another one!)
Thanks a lot. From very happy customers!!

(Ask Bryce for our phone number if you want - we are more than happy to recommend buying a car from him)
After selling a Mustang I was in the hunt for another car. I had been aware of West Coast Classics and their reputation and decided to give Bryce & Lisa a go. Like anyone who is about to part with money to someone you don’t know and purchase a car sight unseen and take the word of a stranger, it was going to be a gamble (even though I had read all the great testimonials).
Once I made the initial deposit, I received a complimentary mustang key ring and period hand book for the year of Mustang I was purchasing. In my opinion this was a nice touch and other businesses should take a leaf from Bryce’s book of good old fashioned service.
Bryce provided me with updates and photo’s, showing the process prior to the cars arrival and once the car had landed in NZ. Bryce also provided me with photos of the car being unpacked and ready for its border checks.
I can 100% confirm that using Bryce and Lisa’s services was the right decision and you will be more than satisfied with them. If you want to take that next step and purchase your American dream, please feel safe and assured that you will be looked after and given 100% service and satisfaction from someone who is sincere and passionate about cool cars and your purchase!
If you wish to contact me to confirm the above please feel free to call me on (027) 220-7548

We promise to keep you updated with photo's on progress as the Mustang has a make over.

I recently ordered a 67 Firebird through West Coast Classic’s (Bryce). Originally I phoned Bryce (many times) to talk about what I was after and what budget I had to spend. Bryce was extremely helpful and always seemed to have time to talk. Once he totally understood my requirements he recommended the Firebird to me and then sent many photo’s of the good, and bad points of the car. When the car arrived it was exactly as described with no hidden surprises, if fact it was better than I expected!
Bryce made the entire process very easy and sorted out all the paperwork that was required.
I have no hesitation in recommending West Coast Classis to anyone looking for a American car.
Great company to deal with! I’ll be back for the next one.

Hello Bryce and Lisa.
Thank you for getting our MUSTANG to us safe and sound. The car is wonderful and everything we hoped for. The whole process was hassle free and we were relaxed and confident we had made the right choice in dealing through you. The honest and professional service you provide is a credit to you both. I would happily recommend your service to anyone who is considering importing one of your classic cars (I have already done this).
Thank you and all the best for the future.

Hi Bryce & Lisa
Just sending ya an email to say we’re wrapped with the car we got threw you guys. It’s more than we expected and the whole process from picking the car by photos in the states through to picking it up from you was a hell of lot easier than we realised. Thanks guys, who knows, we might get another one later down the track.

YES she's lovely, arrived Auckland late Tuesday afternoon. She's everything and more than the pictures presented. Many, many thanks. Always such a heart felt moment & leap of faith when buying a big ticket item look, touch & feel unseen. Your Business Rep is very well deserved. Thanks for the support & care during the purchase & import process.

I bought a 1971 Camaro as a surprise for my husband’s 40th from West Coast Classics and I couldn’t be happier!
Before contacting W.C.C. a workmate of mine (who had previously imported cars) told me he would source a Camaro for me. To cut a very long story short I ended up spending months waiting for photos or any information on a car that I had paid a deposit for and the Camaro I had ‘ordered’ never eventuated.
In my despair, I contacted West Coast Classics and after an extensive conversation with Bryce explaining what I was looking for, he got straight onto the project for me.
Bryce turned what was a stressful situation into an exciting one. He showed me photos of all the cars in my price range and when I told him which one I wanted he did everything for me ranging from getting a good price, having a colleague check the mechanics of the car, putting the video footage onto You Tube to taking a mountain of photos including the car on the container and the freight truck etc. All these details made the whole journey a whole lot easier.
When the car arrived at my house (in plenty of time) it was even better than I imagined.
I can’t thank Bryce enough for his hard work and commitment in getting the Camaro to me in time for my husband’s birthday. He was absolutely thrilled. Thank you again Bryce!
