It's a big thing buying a car from photos and handing over a wad of money to

about people getting sucked in and not receiving what they really thought

loading the container in California, the voyage details and timelines,

Thanks again Bryce for hooking us up with our Stunning 2002 ZO6 Corvette. The pictures, and there were plenty of them did not do it justice. We were lucky enough to view and test drive the ZO6 here in NZ as we originally were looking at it ex the US. After placing a deposit waited less than 3 weeks for the permits to come through. After messing around trying to find a car I liked on ebay, and trying to look at importing it myself through serveral other useless businesses, I took some advice from one of Bryce’s previous clients, he suggested for me to get in contact with Bryce as he was very happy with the import of his 2009 Anniversary Mustang. Like a few others I had a different car in mind, Bryce was able to find me a better one that suited everything that I required.
 
I ended up purchasing a 2011 Californian Special Mustang from West coast Classics; I received very good prompt service and was well informed by email and regular phone conversations. I just wanted to drop you a note to say that importing the Shelby GT500 was a truly fantastic experience, and thanks as it is one “crazy cool car”.  
You and I spoke several times at the start when I was thinking about getting you to buy a car on my behalf, and it is fair to say I was extremely worried about spending this amount of money on a car on the other side of the world and with a person that I had never met.  I very nearly didn’t go ahead because of my nervousness but I am so glad I did. 
It was great you were so relaxed when I passed on a couple of cars, and we managed to get one with less miles than I had even hoped for.  With only 2,000 miles it feels, and smells like a brand new car.
You made this experience brilliant, you spent tones of time answering my questions prior to the purchase, and right throughout the process it was great how you constantly stayed in touch to let me know what was going on, and where things were at.  There are not that many people these days that you can trust to be professional, and to communicate strongly, but you achieved both of these, so thanks for that.
When we got the car here, and it needed the modifications to the lights, I could not believe that you managed to get it done, with no fuss, no stress, and within about 36 hours the car was on a transporter, and on its way to me.
Getting you to take care of everything, to be honest, was the best thing I did.  You have all the contacts and know how to get anything sorted, that needs to be done during the import process.
I would be more than happy to be a referee for you, and talk to any prospective buyers about the amazing experience and service you and Lisa provided.  That is the least I can do, given you got me one very cool car.

Wow! That is how I would describe the product and service I received from Bryce and WestCoast Classics. I was a little unsure about buying a car sight unseen over the Internet but the quick and precise response I got from Bryce put me at ease. Its been four years next month since we purchased our first Mustang, a 1967 GTA Notchback,  which exceeded our expectations.
When it was put through compliance at VTNZ Invercargill, the mechanic stated 'that it was one of the tidiest he had seen'.
In the time we had it, all we had to do was replace the radiator core and a new fuel pump!!
 
We are now the proud owners of the 2008 Mustang Bullitt.  What a car!.

Hi Bryce & Lisa

We are both wrapped with our 2008 Shelby Mustang GT (Miss Shelby) recently purchased via Westcoast Classic Imports. We purchased this vehicle from photos supplied by Bryce, 149 photos to be exact, and Bryce then brought the car back from the States. We even got a photo of it in the container prior to leaving America. During this entire process Bryce was ringing almost daily with updates and letting us know exactly what was happening and when. The day it arrived I got an email from Bryce saying one word “Wow” along with two more photos of Miss Shelby sitting on the wharf out of its container.
Bryce arranged everything for us from MAF to LHD permit, certification and VIN.
It turned out we had an issue with front suspension ball joints but again Bryce was onto it and following a very quick flight from the states the new ball joints were installed and Miss Shelby was ready to go petrol in the tank and all. And believe me it is a Wow
Bryce made the whole process so simple and easy and we cannot recommend him highly enough to anybody thinking about bringing a vehicle in from the States. Just give him a call I know you will not regret it.

"This car is stunning and brutal, you will love it". Bryces words before I had even sighted it.  He was right, I am absolutely wrapped with my 2007 5.4 Shelby Mustrang which has a few enhancements to make it go better than a standard model.

The car is exactly as described in adverts and verbal discussions prior to purchase.  Like others was apprehensive about buying site unseen and handing lot of coin over to a person that I had never met. Conversely had read about the potential horrors that could happen if had purchased and shipped myself out of the states states.  A mate of mine had obtained a Mustang from West Coast Classics several years ago and spoke very highly of Lisa and Bryce and convinceiced me that if I wanted a stress free solution that this was the best way to go.

My experience has been that Lis and Bryce do what they say by email / phone and deliver on their promise, no hidden pitfalls.

Like most people we were dubious about buying a car online and not seeing it in the flesh first.  Speaking with Bryce on the phone certainly put my mind at ease about the state of the car, which when we saw it we could tell that they took pride in sourcing quality vehicles as it was in immaculate condition.  He explained what the process would be if we decided to purchase it, and was always up front around costs .  After the 2005 GT Mustang arrived in the country, Bryce phoned immediately to deliver the good news!  Within days my husband and I were down visiting and viewing the car.  

Just the little things like the way he presented it in the garage was fantastic!  Bryce would phone regularly to advise when each step of the process was completed, as he well knew we’d be chomping at the bit to go and pick it up!  

Thank you so much for everything you have done for us, and I have now achieved a 10 year dream!  We also really appreciated the time you spent to answer queries, provide photos and keep us informed on where things were at. Ive known about Westcoast Classics for sometime and knew they had a good reputation.  I put a friend of mine onto them to buy a 2007 Shelby and he had nothing but praise for them.  One and a half months ago I contacted Bryce to see if he could find me a Chrysler Prowler.  After a few days, he found one in California and promptly rang me.  I asked Bryce to secure the deal for me and within one hour I was looking at my car on U Tube.  Three different takes of the car, its fabulous that Bryce has got a very good contact in LA to look over and test drive this car. 
 
Theres no way I could of done this myself over the computer with EBay. I have previously bought 4 cars in from USA all took a long time and a lot of stress, but with Westcoast Classics it was just so easy.  5 Weeks after original contact, I got off the plane in Tauranga to see my new car sitting in the car park.  Thats service and Im now driving my car all complied and on the road. Wow!!!

I have never met Bryce and Lisa Williams,which was a concern for me when purchasing a classic performance vehicle.After viewing theTrade-Me site for some time I noticed that they had 100% feed back which was assuring.
I rang Bryce and after a couple of dicussions he put my mind at ease by saying that he had imported many vehicles before with no worries.He certainly took a personal interest in me to make sure that my needs were met.

If purchasing a vehicle from overseas I would strongly recommend that you talk to these people prior to making a commitment.

When I first phoned you must have thought “what have I got here?” particularly as I had little idea of what I actually wanted, let alone the fact that I also wanted it for nothing!!  Not only did you make it so easy for this 60 year non - petrol head by making recommendations and finding a great car (at my price), but more importantly the end result was a quality vehicle, no hassles and at no point did I have any concern with both the import process or handing over the money. For those thinking of trying to source and import a vehicle over the internet yourself, don’t even consider it as  I am confident you will get a safer and far better deal through West Coast Classic Imports. I would like to share our car buying experience through Bryce & Lisa Williams of Westcoast Classic Imports Ltd. Right from our first correspondence Bryce was very open and honest about the vehicles we were interested in and let us know exactly what they were like and also sent through numerous photos of both cars. After a road trip through the Waikato and the Bay of Plenty looking at a handful of cars, including the one at Westcoast Classics, we decided this 68 Mustang was the car for us. As we did not know anything about getting the car compliant Bryce offered to get this work done for us along with getting the car to a driveable state (he probably regrets this part a bit as it did take up lots of his time and funds). We decided not to drive the car from the Bay of Plenty back to Taranaki so Bryce organised the transporter to get it to our home.
To conclude I would recommend Westcoast Classics to anyone whom is looking at purchasing a car from the States as Bryce & Lisa take all of the stress and worry out of bringing in an American car and also help out with all of the compliance issues if required.

P.S. since getting the car home Bryce has still shown an interest in how the car is going which shows he is interested in the cars he sells.

I then  rang a friend of mine who had done some work for him in the past and he confirmed what the references had implied.   I rang Bryce and he was very helpful and seemed a really nice guy, so thought about this over night and next day decided to purchase the  Corvette.    Bryce had sent me over100 photos and the car fax sheet, and all seemed great.   I sent half deposit and the Corvette left the  U.S.A the next week.

In the meantime Bryce had organised the left hand drive permit  and all the import documents, and sent me my first  taste of my new car – a Key Ring.      Bryce kept me in the loop all along with photos of the car loaded in the container and an email to say it had arrived in Tauranga, and emails on the progress of the Vinning etc.

What an easy purchase – the car was exactly as he described and even better  than I had hoped for – the condition being like new, and many thousands cheaper than anything else  I have seen.

So I am now the owner of an awesome ZO6 Corvette and have not hestitation in recommending any future purchaser to contact Bryce and Lisa for any help in  importing any car from the U.S.A.

I would like to thank Bryce of West Coast Classic Imports for the hassle-free way in which he conducted the purchase of my 2002 Ford Mustang convertible.

There are a lot of “shady” people both in USA and NZ who seem to promise “miracles” but right from the start Bryce was always up front and true to his word. He found “the car” I was looking for and quickly sent me some photos to see if I was happy. Then prior to it being shipped here I received another 120 photos. Bryce let me know shipping dates and an expected time line before I could expect to receive the car. I was well aware of the LHD application process but was so grateful to have Bryce take this completely out of my hands and have all the requirements needed for the process of  NZTA applications and then compliance.  After looking over the internet for a number of weeks and trying to contacting people in the US to get decent amount of information and photos on a number of 1970 Torino GT and not having much luck, I decided to contacted Bryce and Lisa of Westcoast Classics and within 24 hours not only did Bryce have a Torino for me there were 70 very detailed photos to go with it leaving no suppresses.

The hardest part of the whole process was the walk to the bank to transfer the funds.

We had just sold our GT40 and were looking for a Mustang to replace it.  We were looking at Trade me and came across West Coast Classics and went to the site. 

We then contacted Bryce and told him what we were looking for.  Bryce phoned us a few days later and said he had a 2008 Black Bullitt.  After looking at the photos we purchased the car along with a few extra bits for it which was no trouble for Bryce. 

Bryce kept us up to date with the progress and had the car complied and registered ready for us to pick up one week before Christmas.
